  About Us

This beautiful land is located in the paradise of Costa Rica ('The Rich Coast' in Spanish), in Guanacaste. The province of Guanacaste is sometimes compared to California during the Gold Rush days, because of its tremendous popularity and rapid growth.

Guanacaste is the westernmost province of Costa Rica, and is on the Pacific Ocean. See it in the green image below. This property is located between Sámara and the city of Nicoya, which has a full service hospital. It’s on a peninsula also called Nicoya.

In 2003, the Costa Rica government built a bridge from the mainland to the province of Guanacaste, making it much more accessible.

This is in addition to another bridge directly reaching the property, built in 2005. The province of Guanacaste now has an international airport in the city of Liberia, completed in 2005. That airport is 90 minutes away. You'll be just 10 minutes away from the Carrillo airport, which has daily flights to San Jose.

Privacy lovers, you could lose yourself and find yourself again, if you wanted to.

FIND US:

10 minutes along a paved road from the beach resort of Sámara to Nicoya (turn left at the gas station, by the sign saying “COSTARICAN OCEAN VIEW”, turn right at the creek, a minute later cross a local bridge, and go along the road built in 2006).

To describe it another way: Four kilometers from Playa Sámara, on the road to Nicoya, make a left turn toward Nosara, at the gas station. One kilometer later, make a right turn just before a small bridge. Three hundred meters later you will cross a new bridge, and just follow the road.

Catch idyllic views of the Pacific Ocean as you drive up the hillside on your way to your new property. Electricity is there. (So many signs of rapid growth!)

Northern and southern parts of Guanacaste now have real estate prices that are up in the clouds. The same for other areas. Sámara is much more affordable. The best deal around Sámara is this one. In spite of attractive views, neither your property nor the price you'll pay will be up in the clouds.

Building lots of nearly four acres each (one and a half hectares) are available for prices starting from $105,000. See the properties in the yellow map below: 15,000 square meters and up. This is $7 per square meter. See if you can beat this price, on the Pacific coast! (1 square meter=10.764 square feet, this works out to 65¢ per square foot).

This is prime land, about five miles from an ocean beach, as the crow flies. Wonderful sites to build homes on, as some neighboring foreign residents have done. Someone well-off owns a huge $25,000,000 property within spitting distance. Yours, Bargain Hunter, is much more affordable!

Other neighbors are growing teak, the most durable wood in the world, and the most expensive to buy.

Monkeys can sometimes be seen from the verdant treetops. You can also see parrots, toucans and butterflies.

There is a US Title Insurance policy over this land.

Playa Sámara, the nearby resort, has a beautiful coral reef. There is also an island in the bay. According to the Lonely Planet Travel Guide, it's one of the safest beaches in Costa Rica. The waves are broken up by the horseshoe bay and coral reef, making the waves gentler and more child friendly. Some people learn surfing here at Playa Sámara. Others swim, snorkel, windsurf and scuba dive. You can lie on the miles of white sand, or check out the unusual animals and plants. There are underwater caves, old Indian sites, coastal and mountain trails.
The area around Playa Sámara is becoming a destination for world wide travelers. Other popular activities include hiking, riding horses, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing.
